In today’s colour applications, such as Adobe Photoshop™, the use of ICC profiles for colour management is very common. But users are frequently faced with the question “What if I receive an image that includes an incorrect or no profile?” - assigning the wrong source profile can lead to many hours of colour correction or simply a useless image. What Profile? is the answer!
What Profile? can be launched from within Adobe Photoshop (or as a stand-alone application) and presents the user with four versions of an image, each viewed through a different source profile. The most appropriate profile can easily be attached to image and control returned to Adobe Photoshop.
Users will also appreciate being able to compare and convert an image (with a source profile) simulated through four destination profiles, or to the same destination profiles using different rendering intents. All of this can be achieved in a matter of minutes, enabling the user to accurately evaluate how an image will finally appear in print or proof.
