Hi-touch Thermal Transfer Photographic Printers
Hi-Touch photo printers employ dye diffusion thermal transfer (D2T2) technology to deliver an exceptional 16.77 million possible true colours. When heat is applied the dye is converted into a diffused gas and is absorbed by a special receiving layer on the paper. The print head in the Hi-touch photo printers is capable of producing 256 levels of each colour (cyan, magenta, yellow) and combines these colours to create a possible 16.77 million true colours. The result is outstanding quality photo prints.
Magic Coating - A special overcoating seals the dye into the paper protecting the image from UV rays, fingerprints and even water. There is no smudging, running, or blotching because the prints are dry and ready to touch as soon as they leave the printer.
PhotoDesiree - Hi-Touch's software package accompanies all of the printers within the Hi-Touch range. It allows users to enhance and modify images using the easy automatic adjustment facility or by using the professional editing functions. It provides great versatility by facilitating the printing of calendars, greetings cards, stickers, passport photos, business cards and bookmarks.
Event Photographers
HiTi Photo Printers are being used by over 20,000 event photographers worldwide for a diversity of events, from black tie to speedway racing. The HiTi 700 Series represent the perfect tool for event photographers, with the ability to print 4"x6", 5"x7" and 6"x8" borderless prints in under 70 seconds, either directly from a memory card or via a laptop. The prints emerge from the printer dry, ready to go straight into a slip-mount and be sold on the spot.
One 6"x8" print costs 70p incl. VAT to produce and are being sold for an average of £10 each, thus representing a sizable profit on each sale.
