The printing revolution starts here
The large external ink reservoirs continually feed the cartridges with ink through silicon feed tubes (see above picture). The cartridges remain in place permanently in your printer and all you have to do is simply top up the external ink reservoirs. Don't leave those digital camera photographs sitting on your computer - get printing!
The Continuous Ink unit simply fits your existing printer replacing the usual expensive cartridges with a simple but very effective bulk ink delivery system for your printer. SMART Chips on our Continuous Ink unit tell your printer it's never going to run out of ink, all you have to do is keep the resevoirs topped up.
Here's how the how it cost savings stack up:
7 cartridges for Epson R2100 printer cost £11.34 each (source Epson Consumables on-line site February 2006). Total Cost £79.59.
The colourtools Continuous Ink unit for the Epson 2100, which comes with over 4 x the usable ink, costs only £154.95! Four sets of cartridges would cost nearly £320.00 !!!
When the time to comes to refill your Continuous ink unit, the refill cost saving is even greater. A full set of refills would cost £175.00 - and you will get more than seven times more ink than in a set of cartridges. Seven sets of cartridges would cost you nearly £560.00 !!!
